Hello Everyone...
Welcome to my first attempt at our new Blog! Every week, I'll post a note about what we discussed in the previous week and attached the topic flyer.
In our 2nd week of healthbeat meetings we discussed Goal Planning. In making our larger goals we need to think about setting mini goals to help us achieve the larger ones. If we set the goals too big; we will likely be discouraged if it takes us too long to achieve. But in creating smaller, easier to achieve goals along the way; we'll reach our final destination with no problem (yeah right...).
For example if your goal is to lose 50 pounds. This could seem completely overwhelming. You may want to break this down into smaller weekly or monthly goals, like 6lbs a month or 1-2 pounds a week. Then you can celebrate your little goals along the way.
